A Brave cyclist who has just completed a 2000 km cycle to Poland from Northern Ireland to raise money for a one year old boy Jordan Priestly who suffers from a life limiting rare genetic condition has been welcomed to Stormont. North Down DUP MLA Gordon Dunne joined with the First Minister Arlene Foster in welcoming Noel Johnston to Parliament Buildings. Mr Dunne added:

‘I was delighted to welcome Noel to Stormont as he has just completed a very demanding 2000km cycle to Poland to raise money for young Jordan Priestly who suffers from a rare life-limiting, chromosomal condition which causes blindness, seizures and learning difficulties, as well as reduced life expectancy. Noel has displayed an amazing amount of selfless dedication and courage in completing this sponsored cycle and is keen to continue to raise much needed funds for little Jordan which has become known as the #Hope4Jordan campaign.

This is a very worthwhile cause to support this young boy who has spent a considerable amount of time in Hospital with his family trying to keep his condition under control. Noel has cycled this route to raise much needed funds for Jordan and also for the Special Educational Needs Advice Centre (SENAC) which helps around 800 families per year access Special Educational Needs provision.’
